Add the option to bind a second PTT in the vPilot software.
Fair enough. However most people who use joystick or yoke have to change it manually anyway if they use yoke then switch to joystick. Even if it was limited to two push to talks surely that isn’t that demanding
I think you misread … that is an excerpt from the other post that I linked to. The original poster there was using “demanding” to mean “in high demand”.
Ah my apologies there
I second this request on behalf of all home cockpit builders worldwide.
Thirded. I love having that ability with xPilot and miss it with vPilot

I have realized that by configuring a key press on every hardware device in my home cockpit. I have 6 PTT buttons, all configured with “M” (for mike
“M” is configured as central PTT button in Jeehell. Alternatively it could be configured in FSUIPC.
My solution is quite similar… i have 3 PTT Buttons
-
Handmic PTT Button
-
Mouse (one of right thumb num pad)
-
PTT at the Flightstick
-
Each triggers a F-Button (F17-F19)
-
If one of F19-F19 is pressed a Voicemter Potato Macro-Button mutes the not used mic
(e.g when using the Handmic, the button translates into “F17” which then mutes the Input of the Headset Mic (and vise versa)
-Finally the macro buttons triggers “F20” (for each of the 3) which is set as the PTT Button in vPilot…
