You really aren’t listening bro…. You really aren’t… VATSIM HAS CHOSEN IF THERE ARE MORE THAN TWO TOWER FREQUENCIES THEY HAVE CHOSEN ONE OF THEM AND HAVE LISTED THEM IN THE AIP!!!
And then if tower comes on they come on THAT FREQUENCY SO THEY ARE ON THE RIGHT ONE!!!

fwiw pretty sure 122.8 isnt the right freq no matter what. we dont have unicoms. multicom is 122.9

yeah i know. just pointing out that 122.8 is no more realistic than using a tower freq.

I guess but using a frequency unique for the airport you are in and not for all around the US is nice cause on busy nights you can’t get a word edgewise in and people use it for personal conversations (very annoying)

A “Real” Flight simulator is something like a Level D Sim, BATD, Or something that costs millions or hundreds of thousands of dollars to create and is FAA approved

A Desktop simulator (IE, MSFS, XP, P3D Unless its commericially licensed) is a desktop game, Its a game unless you did the above…

Your incredibly disrespectful telling people “they dont belong”…It just comes off as rude and kind of gatekeeping, this is a hobby for everyone who can be proficent in it, not your little “Flight club for RW PPLs” We got Pilotedge for that man…People brought up valid concerns and its probably going to be a crapshow anyway

The point of desktop simulator such as X-Plane is to be able to practice your skills without having to have a full level flight simulator or a real plane. Some people use it as a hobby, and some people use it as a steppingstone to go into real world aviation. Call it what you like But a desktop simulator is for people looking for affordable way to practice flight.
As 4 being disrespectful, if that’s what you wanna call it go ahead, no ones stopping you
