xPilot completely broken after trying X-CSL - please help!

Hi everyone,

I’m really struggling with xPilot right now and hoping someone can help me out. Until yesterday everything was working perfectly fine. I had Bluebell CSL installed and most liveries were displaying correctly with no issues.

Then I got curious and decided to try X-CSL alongside Bluebell. It took forever to load with lots of lag, but eventually everything seemed to work properly. However, I thought maybe a fresh reinstall would improve the performance, so I decided to reinstall xPilot completely.

Big mistake! Now nothing works anymore. xPilot doesn’t recognize my CSL path at all, and I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times but it doesn’t help. The worst part is that when I run xPilot on the same virtual desktop as X-Plane 12 (Windows 11), it becomes completely unresponsive and I can’t even close it properly - I have to kill it through Task Manager.

I’ve tried setting the CSL paths manually and even running xPilot on a separate virtual desktop, but nothing seems to work. I’m wondering if trying X-CSL somehow messed up some configuration files or registry entries?

Does anyone know where xPilot stores its config files so I can do a completely clean installation?

I’m honestly at my wit’s end here. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If you need log files or any other information, just let me know.

Thanks!

Please confirm that you have the desired CSL paths selected in the PLUGIN (inside X-Plane) settings.
