vPilot - Where to post a feature proposal

Hi there,
does anyone know, where to post feature proposals for vpilot?
I am flying FS2024 fullscreen and use to have vpilot open as top application but move it to the lower left corner of my screen, so I can quickly access it. The text history is going from oldest on top to latest on bottom (only leaving the top line visible). If it was possible to flip the order, I could see the latest message via text, without moving the window.
I just have not managed jet, to show the text messages in FS2024 as it was possible in FS2000 to P3D. So to improve my online simming this would be a great improvement for me.
Thank you for any hint
Martin

If you scroll the messages to the bottom, any new messages should automatically scroll into view. Make sure the scroll bar is all the way at the bottom of the messages area.

Hi Ross,
great to hear from you. Your solution is known to me. Let me show you a screenshot of my usual window config flying online - the vpilot window is in the lower left corner, taking up minimum place. If the latest message was on the top, instead of the bottom, I could see the message, by just placing the window half an inch higer, instead of having the whole window on my screen.
Just a thought - thank you for considering.

Ahh, okay, I thought you were saying that the latest messages didn’t show up without you having to scroll the message area.

I don’t think this is a change I would want to make since just about every text messaging system that I know of puts the latest messages at the bottom.

One of the primary design goals of vPilot was for it to be used to initially connect, and then it would not be needed throughout the flight. Obviously there are exceptions where that’s not possible, like text-only pilots, but for the most part, most pilots don’t need to interact with the vPilot UI during flight. So I’m curious, why do you need to have the messages area visible at all times? If I can better understand your situation, I might be able to make a suggestion.

Well, I have vPilot on a second screen, and I frequently scan it during my flights. ATC stations, ATIS, controller info, and many pilots still use Advisory via text.

What I’m wondering is why no aircraft developer yet has come up with the idea to stream vPilot (or any other online client) on the omnipresent EFB - or would that be impossible?

Boris

Hi Ross,
you are right, as long as atc is present, there is no need to access vpilot. I also only use to access it, when flying over europe while no atc is online and most traffic advisories are still posted by text.
The idea was “inspired” by some ticket systems like atlassian jira, that some time ago turned around the order of posts, to have the latest information on top. Yes, it took me some time to get used to it, but if you followed a complete discussion it’s easy to have the latest message(s) on top.
Thank you for having spent time and thoughts with this idea.

@Boris - my current setup is single screen and the secondary PC runs linux - for websites it’s great, but most FS software ist windows only. Thanks for your input.

The pilot client I did for PilotEdge has a web interface … maybe I should do that for vPilot as well.
