Hi, if possible can the developers of vpilot please include a little volume control knob, controllable with the mouse scroll wheel, on the vpilot main window perhaps somewhere near the currently tuned frequencies? I am asking this because the volumes of pilots and controllers are all over the place, and I would love a nice quick easy way to adjust the volume without having to go into the vpilot settings or constantly adjusting the vpilot volume slider in the windows volume mixer as i fly.
Best implementation would be to use the aircraft’s volume knob in the radio panel.
True. But that would probably require aircraft developers to have to implement that which takes time depending on their priority. If the devs at vpilot, in addition to what you said, also implemented a little shortcut way of doing it on the main window of vpilot then we’d have that ability no matter what plane or developer implements it.
xPilot has that option already. You can turn the knob in the Plane to adjust the volume so the aircraft devs did their job.
That option in vPilot in addition to an easy click-switch between Headset and Speakers and it is perfect
I think a volume leveling feature would be super beneficial.
THIS Exactly!
On your main Windows screen on the bottom right of the taskbar right-click on the speaker icon. Then left-click on . You can then independently adjust any/all of the various volume inputs. I keep this window open and minimised for easy access. Simples!
Except, that is not what he is asking for. Not everyone is polite or knowledgeable enough to set their mic input gain sensibly, This goes for controllers too, and then there are the mumblers who try to imitate the low gravely “airline pilot” voice they think we use IRL. What is needed is an audio-Leveler that is gated to pull down the boorish loudsters, and jack up the whispering mumblers to a nice even level.
I shoud have read the initial post a little more carefully - apologies
