I’ve been having this problem for approximately the past 2 weeks. It says that the sim MSFS2024 if frozen or locked up, VPilot freezes then disconnects from the network. I’m not sure what I’ve done.
Can anyone help with this issue?, I attached a picture of the problem with this post.
When I use MSFS2020, VPilot runs perfectly.
Thank you in advance for your kind help.

That means that vPilot isn’t receiving any data via SimConnect from the simulator. Hard to say what could cause that, but the first thing I would do is ensure your antivirus or firewall software has an exception for the sim’s exe file and the vpilot.exe file so it doesn’t try to block any communications between those apps.
Hello, thank you for your quick response to my issue.
I get that, but, it shouldn’t be a difference when I use MSFS2020 with no issues and MSFS2024 with this issue, VPilot is the same for both sims. What I’m thinking is that Simconnect is not running or something, but, is there a way to make sure it is running normally?.
Hello. But the question is…what can I do to fix this issue?.
I’m providing more pictures of the issue. I ran Simconnect Inspector, VPilot is there recognized. Also, I’m providing more pics of VPilot before and after crushing.
You can see there that VPilot is connected, but then crushes.
There’s nothing wrong with vPilot – it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. When vPilot detects that your sim is no longer communicating, e.g., it has crashed, vPilot is reporting that your simulator is frozen / not communicating.
Did you do what Ross suggested? Also, have you ensured you’re running the most recent version of SimConnect?
