vPilot kills all audio when BT headphones are on

I am trying to use vPilot to connect to VATSIM with FS2020

Whenever I start vPilot when connected with my BT headphones, audio dies completely except for vPilot on headset output. No system sounds can be heard or anything else, until vPilot is turned off, then everything is fine.

If I use wired connection, all is fine, except that wired connection does not carry microphone signal. I no longer own a wired microphone (attempted to use an old USB webcam but it’s not working)

How to get around?

There’s a Windows option that gives preference to the headset/phone calls. You need to disable it.

Open your Windows sound settings, scroll to the end for “more settings” (or similar) and then select the “Communciation” tab. Select “do nothing”.

That unfortunately did not help at all. I try all kinds of things even disable communications device completely, still same issue. In fact it messed up my windows audio completely.

I can use the bluetooth headphones if I select a different microphone… but I don’t have a different microphone, that is the whole issue. (there is a virtual one from Steam Streaming. Not a real one.)

I’m having the same issue ever since I update to vPilot v3.11. Worked without issue using v3.10.

As soon as I launch vPilot, all FS sound goes and I can hear nothing. When I kill vPilot, the sound all comes back.

What can we do to fix this??

Hmm. Is there a way to download 3.10?
