Brand new PC, I’ve reinstalled vPilot (latest version 3.9.0) and when I’ve come to select a PTT key on my Thrustmaster Airbus Sidestick and it hangs vPilot.
The first few times it didn’t recognise me pressing the button on the sidestick and crashed vPilot, and then I got it working. Thing is, I fly with the stick and a yoke and I have to change the PTT key whenever I switch using the controllers.
I found that if the slider on the sidestick is pulled all the way back ie through the detent, it permanently sends a signal and so when you click on vPilot to set a PTT, it detects the slider and will override any other attempt to set a PTT on the yoke.
If you move the slider into the detent, it will no longer be detected and you should be able to set a PTT on the yoke as normal.
