Why are some so intent to drop the fuel endurance field?
Didn’t check beyond EASA (SERA.4005 and .4015) and FAA (Appendix 2), but for both, it’s a mandatory item IRL, and of all the things in the ICAO FPL, I doubt “endurance” is the entry that causes headaches? 
The community discord, the official marketing blog, the tech blog, Instagram, and Facebook were the main places this was posted. Most of the social sites linked back to the blog. The additional email communication piece is something we’ll look at in future.
To me it causes a bit of an headache when parsing an ICAO FPL. I then need to manually fill the endurance field.
IRL, ATC only gets field 19 if they request it, normally in case of SAR, which doesn’t happen in VATSIM.
Same as endurance, in my opinion doesn’t really serve a purpose for the network. Only downside I can see is that the pilot will loose the “realism” of filing it

I wasn’t aware of this tech blog, nor do I know where else the “usual news places” is.
Didn’t know about the marketing blog, the tech blog, or the community Discord, and I don’t use Instagram. I barely use Faceplant.
sorry that we didn’t send a plane over your head to personally deliver a message. Also if you are using faceplant you should get checked out by a doctor.
