I have just joined the network and still in the process of learning. I found the following to be extremely helpful but wondered why it couldn’t be accessed directly from the vPilot app: Documentation - vPilot - Pilot Client for VATSIM. Hopefully a relatively easy add for future release.
I didn’t add a docs link because I didn’t want to use up space in the vPilot UI for something that you generally never need once you get it set up. Plus, you can always just bookmark the docs in your browser if you feel like you will need to refer to the docs regularly. (I can’t see why you would.)
Hi Ross. Thanks for your quick response and explanation. I agree that there would be little use for a link to documentation after initial setup. However, the list of .commands is something that people may want to use on a somewhat regular basis, but not necessarily memorize.
There aren’t many dot commands, and they’re very simple, so I think most people that use them memorize them rapidly without even trying.
