Vpilot 2 PTT for COM1 and COM2

Hello, are there any plans or possibilities to set up two separate PTTs in vpilot, one for COM1 and one for COM2, so that both can be used simultaneously without having to switch all the time?

In every aircraft there’s only one PTT and one Transmitting channel at the time. You can receive multiple, but not transmit.

It would be for the Eurofighter to use a tactical channel as well.

For Vatsim purpouses yes, but IRL many aircraft allow to split two or more pilots onto different radios, even on some installations in the GA world but definitely in the airliner world.

So if it were technically possible, why not implement it? It would definitely be an improvement. Regardless of what the user then does with it.

My plane has 4 PTTs…

The one I use in FS has two. The point of the community is that you can use the frequency you have on the monitor via PTT 2 without changing frequencies, etc. Instead, you can simply press PTT.

For one pilot, transmitting on 4 different COM channels?

Because mine has 8, 3 per each pilot + obs station, but transmitting only on 1 COM, so I guess it doesn’t count like that

The question arises as to whether someone could work on developing this useful feature. Those who don’t need it don’t have to use it.
Someone at flightsim.to developed a tool to adjust the volume of the vpilot radio in the aircraft. Perhaps a PTT option for COM2 could be possible.

My plane has 3 VHF and 2 HF radios and each pilot has 3 PTTs. One on the yoke, two at the cursor control device. So, indeed we have 6 PTTs in the cockpit. Naturally any PTT of the respective side can only transmit on the radio that is selected.
