The role of Virtual Airline Audit Manager within the VATSIM Virtual Airlines Department presents an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to the growth of our community. As part of a small but dynamic team, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening VATSIM’s relationship with virtual airlines (VA).
The primary responsibility of the Virtual Airline Audit Manager is to conduct regular audits of Virtual Airline Partners (VAP) and Virtual Airline Associates (VAA) to ensure they meet the established partnership requirements. You will work closely with Senior Audit Managers and collaborate on various projects aimed at improving the department’s processes and outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic audits according to scheduled timelines.
- Respond to inquiries regarding the partnership status of virtual airlines.
- Collaborate with Senior Audit Managers on special projects.
- Report issues and concerns to Senior Audit Managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships between VATSIM and Virtual Airline Partners.
- Ensure communication and documentation meet the highest standards of accuracy and clarity.
- Support initiatives that enhance the presence and engagement of VATSIM within the virtual airline community.
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to VATSIM’s values, mission, and goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with VATSIM operations, policies, and specifically the Virtual Airlines Partner Policy.
- Familiarity with Vatsim Virtual Airlines Associate Policy
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of the VATSIM Virtual Airlines Partner Policy. Familiarity with this policy is critical for success in this role and in overseeing the ongoing partnership efforts.
