The Arabian vACC is now seeking candidates for the following position:


Arabian vACC Director of Membership Department – ACCARB6


Position Duties

The role of the Arabian vACC Membership Director entails overseeing the Membership Department & guiding vACC members when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming new members into the vACC. This includes sending welcome messages and information to new members of the vACC.
  • Keeping track of all inactive and active controllers by conducting quarterly checks in liaison with the ATC Department.
  • Acting as the vACC’s Conflict Resolution Manager and resolving disputes between members.
  • Assisting members and maintaining an online presence.
  • Replying to support tickets/emails within 48 hours.
  • Moderating the vACC Discord server and reporting violating members to the division where needed.
  • Managing a team of Membership Staff.
  • Performing assigned tasks by the vACC Director.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Membership in VATSIM Middle East and North Africa Division & Arabian vACC, or willing to transfer if selected.
  • Minimum of a year residency in the Middle East and North Africa Division. Exceptions to this may be given on the discretion the vACC/Division.
  • Hold a minimum rating of Student 2 (S2)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of subdivisional, divisional and VATSIM Policies such as the Code of Conduct/Regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
  • Active and in good standing with VATSIM.
  • Availability to dedicate a minimum of 4-5 hours per week.
  • Able to commit to the position for a minimum term of 12 months.

  • vACC Director – Arabian vACC [ACCARB1]
  • Divisional Membership Director - VATSIM Middle East and North Africa Division [VATMENA5]
