India vACC is currently on the lookout for qualified individuals to fill the position of India vACC Events & Marketing Director (ACCIND5)


As the Events and Marketing Director for the India vACC, your role involves conceptualizing and organizing subdivisional events while overseeing all official social media accounts.

Key tasks include:

  1. Planning, promoting, and executing vACC events, which entails coordinating with controllers for ATC, designing event banners, and ensuring effective promotion across various platforms.
  2. Managing and curating content for all approved social media platforms, maintaining a consistent and professional online presence, and engaging with the community.
  3. Serving as the vACC’s representative on an international scale, particularly for events and marketing initiatives.
  4. Collaborating with other vACCs, Divisions, and Regions to coordinate community-engaging events, including liaising with relevant parties to ensure seamless cooperation.
  5. Ensuring ATC coverage for all events and coordinating with other vACCs/Divisions for enroute ATC coverage during international events.
  6. Carrying out assigned tasks by the vACC Director.

Minimum Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of subdivisional, divisional, and VATSIM policies.
  2. Proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator or similar programs.
  3. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  4. Active and in good standing with VATSIM, holding a minimum rating of Student 1 (S1).
  5. Membership in VATSIM West Asia and India vACC
  6. Availability to dedicate a minimum of 2-3 hours per week.
