Using the fsx airport database

With reference to this post: FSX Old Airports

I use orbx scenery for Europe and the UK. However, I use Doncaster/Sheffield as my home airport.
How would I know if any airport I would want to depart/arrive at is ‘on vatsims map’?
Not discussed is the effect of using fsx/‘old airfields’ within the vatsim world.
I’m only interested in GA at the moment so other than passing through controlled airspace I don’t imagine I’d appear on radar, so to speak.

You can probably fly there but VATUK no longer provides ATC services. It’s Class G airspace.

It would only show on the map if you filed a flight plan, assuming the system still accepts EGCN.
