Did you get an answer on this subject? i have the same problem and i am unable to fix it. I do not understand the VPN you have mentioned how does that fix the issue? I am running a fairly powerful setup with framerates in the 40 to 50 mark unless i go any where near London and drops to mid 20s. would love to be able to fix this issue once and for all. thankyou Dave Kane

Without using VPN - no
I got this error tonight, during my very first VATSIM flight. I thought I was booted because I did a practice missed approach at my destination on an IFR Flight Plan. Maybe it was just because I need a VPN.
