TBT, back in the late 90’s, i had an upstanding VATsim account. Is it possible to resurrect that account number as my own going forward?
by default you should have/could have contacted the VATSIM membership instead of going on about creating a new account

Gentle teasing… Including just reading and taking the advice in the the second bullet in that really big blue box on the registration page with the big headline that says:
Before completing your registration please read the following:
- You may not hold more than one VATSIM account. If you have registered for VATSIM in the past and do not know your details, please visit the Membership Helpdesk. Alternatively, if you do remember your details, please visit here to reactivate your account
I do encourage you to open a support ticket with Membership and get it sorted out…
