Old Airport Charts Please

Since VATNZ forums are closed and moved to here the new Discord group, I have question for you please.

Where can I find free old NZMC Mount Cook airport charts please for arrival and departure using airline propeller and jet planes, please? The internet shows only current NZMC charts only for use of helicopters. I would need old NZMC airport charts for DC-3s/C-47s and HS748 planes please.

Thanks for any assistance any of you might provide.

Regards,

Aharon

I’m not entirely sure what you are looking for?
All the information you need can be found in the AIP New Zealand and/or the briefing package for the Mount Cook area by New Zealand’s aviation authorities. VATNZ also forwards you to the AIP charts on their website.

There are no IFR procedures (although there is a standard route to Christchurch DVOR, but the way I read the AIP, it’s not a SID, but you rather depart VFR and pick up IFR along the way with your initial routing following this standard route) into or out of NZMC and since no arrival/departure routes for fixed wing aircraft are published for the airport, you would simply approach/depart like you would any other uncontrolled field under VFR. You probably want to have a look at ENR 1.16 which discusses the special (and mandatory) VFR procedures in the Mount Cook area.

All official charts are still linked by VATNZ.

@1487670 ,

Thanks but that is chart for helicopters only, not for planes that I want to use as indicated in my original post.

There used to be IFR AIP charts for NZMC for when Mount Cook took the ATR’s there in Summer 2012/2013. They were still in circulation in the manuals up until at least 2020

That is what I am looking for and hope to find on internet.
