No traffic in MSFS 2024

Hello,

for some reason my SIM does not load any online traffic. Sometimes I see one or two, but generally even though there is traffic about the airport I simply do not see them. When I open vPilot .aircraft window, I can see that it has attached an FSLTL model, but when you look for the airplane, nothing is there. vPilot also gives no “Failed to load xxx model” message. It seems that according to vPilot all is well. But there are no traffic in SIM.

Anyone any ideas!?

Looks like vpilot is unable to physically load the FSLTL-file that it is trying to access. Have you moved the files after creating the model matching in vpilot? Are all FSLTL-files located in the correct SIM-folder? Otherwise try deleting and downloading all FSLTL-files from scratch. Maybe they are corrupt.

Andreas, thanks for replying. I was waiting for the post to get approved to say that I found the fix.
When I remembered that MSFS 2024 was a lot stricter in the reading of the layout.json files, I thought I would run the layout generator on it. And all is now back to normal.
It needed a new layout.json file because not only were the folders copied over from 2020, but they were also resized to 2048x2048.
A light went off in my head when I was rearching online for this problem and found EasyJetSimPilot’s video about the issue. There he says that you need to let FSLTL install directly in MSFS 2024 for it work. bing !! layout.json

Thanks again …
