Gday mates - wondering if we could get split L/R audio channels for COM1/2? Similar to SRS in DCS, would be great to be able to have COM1 in one ear, and COM2 in the other to keep comms awareness in busy spots.
Im sure for GA flying, it wouldnt be hugely important, but as a VSO aerobatic group, we have a ops com channel like an intercom between the team, and usually monitor center/unicomm. On busy days, it can be hard to maintain SA with alot of chatter going on.
I know in SRS I have 2 volume knobs bound so I can increase/decrease each channel as well, which would be awesome.
Cheers! And thanks for all the hard work put into vPilot so far!
Adding to this request, if I may:
As would be the case in such aircraft you’re flying, the ability to have separate PTTs for, and allow both radios to be simultaneously active to transmit (though I’m not sure if that’s a vPilot or a flight sim limitation at this time)
I know in the Iris PC-21 we have a PTT switch we bind to a switch which lets us switch pretty quick and easy - but like SRS if we could bind 2 diff buttons to com1/2 that would be great too.
Yes, COM1 left ear and COM2 right ear is nice to have! I use that split feature in Xpilot for Xplane along with override Xpilot volume with inplane radio panel volume knobs is fantastic also, that multiplies the immersion. Why not the same on Vpilot?? Listening to ATC on left ear while also listening to ATIS on right ear is sim experience changing! Not having them overlapping gibberish on both ears! One can only appreciate it after trying it!
Please make it happen for vpilot also.
..and those would be toggle ON or OFF features, if one doesn’t like it one can just leave it OFF, simple.
