Determine other users tuned frequency

How did another pilot know that I was tuned into Unicom when landing at KDFW, which had no ATC control, instead of CTAF? I know I was at fault for being on the wrong frequency and was not transmitting as there was nothing airborne or on the ground and should have been monitoring CTAF but how did he know I was tuned to Unicom

Probably by using the AFV map.

I use swift/FS9 and it will show aircraft in range what frequency they are on.

usa use ctaf not unicom for landing.in vpilot write .ctaf kdfw and you get the ctaf frequentie

Ok? Didn’t really get why you replied to me and that answer, but alright…
The question was about how can someone know what frequency you are tuned to, nothing else.

sorry for that

Thanks for the info.

Com1 to CTAF
Com2 to 122.8 monitoring only (.com both)

Thanks for giving the interesting info.

If you transmitted on the frequency, he probably heard you.
