Hi, in euroscope (from what i was able to find) you can only change the color for the whole taxiway system and not each one independently.
i want to change certain taxiways and mainly stands colors, so i can know what stands are heavy what are light and so on.
any way to do it?
This heavily depends on how your vACC builds its controller package. I would recommend you talk to your facility engineering team about this.
Hi, i had a talk with them, they dont really remeber or just doesnt want to help, idk. anyway i am trying to change some staff there in the file, no success so far.
maybe you will know how to? here is the file: Ground.asr - Google Drive
This requires work on the SCT file, as it holds all the geometry objects you can display. Read VRC - Virtual Radar Client for VATSIM Controllers for the use of the different sections of the SCT file format. In EuroScope, there is also a default colour setting (Symbology), which applies if no colour has been specified for a SCT entry. Your intention likely requires changes to the SCT file.
The ASR file is not really related to this, as it only defines what geometry objects are displayed, but not their colour or any other appearance.
Hi, had a look in the sct and the link you sent me. i tried to change somethings and didnt work. i just dont really know what do i need to change.
i tried creating a new section in the display or symbology sections and moving some of the gates to there but when i opened euroscope the section didnt appear and euroscope deleted what i have done and put the gates back to freetext. can you maybe have a look?
To change the colour of a specific entry, you need to adapt the corresponding line in the sct file. The link explains you exactly how these entries work. This cannot be customised on a local setup, but only directly in the (source) sct file, especially if you want to use different colours for elements within the same section.
I generally would not advise to make such changes, as they will be overwritten with the next sector file version you reveive from your vACC/ARTCC. But maybe you can contribute there, so that also other controllers can benefit. You should approach the sector file manager to discuss any further details.
