Correct Title for ATC

Hopefully a simple question.

I am wondering how to address an ATC who is ‘acting down’ to a lower level. For example, as I write this there is no Tower ATC at KLAS but it is covered by LAX_25_CTR.

If I wish to speak to the Tower I need to speak to LAX_25_CTR but should I call them ‘Los Angeles Centre’ or ‘Las Vegas Tower’?

Hi Owen,

if you are on the frequency of LAX CTR, address him as “Los Angeles Centre”. In such cases make sure you mention that you are on the ground in Las Vegas so the ATCO can find you quickly without wasting too much time.

Their callsign is listed in the Controller Info.

You must say “Los Angeles Centre”.
