Applications are now invited from suitably experienced members of the VATMENA Division for the position of ATC Training Director
REPORTS TO: VATSIM Middle East & Northern Africa - Divisional Director [VATMENA1]
Responsibilities: The VATMENA ATC Training Director will be responsible for managing the VATSIM Middle East and North Africa (VATMENA) ATC Training platform and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of training programs within the division. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and developing training resources within the division.
- Recommending members for Senior Instructor Ratings to the Divisional Director.
- Ensuring training is conducted in a timely manner and maintains a high standard throughout the division.
- Ensuring compliance with VATSIM policies, including VATMENA Division Policy, VATSIM Code of Conduct, and VATSIM Code of Regulations.
- Inducting new members into the ATC Training process, providing a welcoming and informative experience.
- Handling training-related duties, including Controller Practical Examinations, if necessary.
- Producing regular reports on the status of training within the division.
- Maintaining an active online presence within the division.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Divisional Director.
Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum standards:
- Hold a minimum C1 rating.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Membership in VATMENA or willingness to become a member.
- Familiarity with Middle East and North Africa operations.
- Must be in good standing within the VATSIM Network.
- Demonstrated past experience in staff roles or other managerial positions.
- Commitment to maintaining a strong online presence throughout the appointment.
- Fluent in English.
