[CLOSED] India vACC Membership Director (IND4)

Are you passionate about supporting the VATSIM community and playing a key role in the growth of India vACC? We’re looking for a dedicated and driven individual to join the India vACC staff team as Membership Director (IND4)!

Responsibilities:

As the Membership Director for India vACC, you’ll be at the forefront of community engagement, onboarding, and internal communications.

Key tasks include:

  • Sending welcome emails and guidance to new members joining India vACC.
  • Supporting members with queries and helping them navigate VATSIM and vACC procedures.
  • Assisting other departments with important announcements and maintaining an active online presence.
  • Maintaining and updating membership records for quarterly reporting.
  • Managing Discord roles, access, and moderation for our community server.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum ATC rating of S2 or higher.
  • Past experience in a VATSIM staff position or significant contributions to the network is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of VATSIM’s Code of Conduct, Code of Regulations, and VATWA/India vACC policies.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a desire to improve member experience within the vACC.
  • Clean VATSIM record for the past year.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.

Expectations for the Role:

  • Able to commit at least 3 hours per week to vACC membership-related duties.
  • Willingness to perform all responsibilities and assist with related tasks as needed.
  • Must be a member of India vACC or ready to transfer upon selection.
  • Commitment to the role for a minimum of one year.
  • Reports directly to the India vACC Director (IND1), and coordinates with the Division as required.
