Choice of livery

Hello everyone,
Is threre a rule for the choice of livery. Can you fly a plane on Vatsim wirh a livery from an Airline that doesnt operate the plane anymore.For example Lufthansa livery on a Boeing737.

There’s no rule about that, so you can absolutely fly a Lufthansa 737 (or even something that has never existed, like a Ryanair 777).

Yes you can, but keep in mind, others may not see your aircraft correctly due to model matching, for example you fly an airline that has not used a practical aircraft in a long time, let say a Lufthansa 727 it will appear as something else to others.
