apart from you not being on an active ATC frequency, it seems okay⌠whats the issue ?
the thing is i cant hear nobody, i cant talk there too. pressing keybind nothing happens.
Hi @1712550 ,
Send please Settings page (Audio Sector) to try to figure it out whats the problem
Have you tried to press on the the freq. on vatsimpage and then on enter to select the freq.
Maybe that can be also a solution, but the guy said that the âpush to talkâ doesnt work and he doesnt see the frequency. And he doesnt see the button coloring blue when speak or pushâŚ
Yup, canât also hear ATC or pilots
Important question: are you supposed to hear controllers or pilots, i.e. are you sure somebody was speaking on the frequency you were tuned to (the little RX box would light up in blue if there is an incoming transmission)?
You can test whether the system is working by tuning both your radios to the same frequency (and making sure you are monitoring both radios) and transmitting a few words - if you can hear yourself, both your input and output are working. Obviously, you have to choose a frequency that isnât in use anywhere around you - your best choice would be a published air-to-air frequency for the region/country where you are making this test as those normally wonât be used as ATC frequencies in the vicinity.
For me it is obvious from picture that the correct freq. isânt selected on either of he commâs. That is the first objektiv to select correct
Yeah, indeed they were speaking in frequency. I tested on Dubai too and nothing. Always no sound coming
Hi.How can you see that from the image above? There are no freqs to see!!
Regards
I assume what Henning means is that according to both the pilot client and the com panel, OP is tuned to Unicom. As we all know, pilots are not particularly prone to communicating on Unicom and for obvious reasons even less so if thereâs ATC online.
Since there is an ATIS for EIDW, somebody has to be online covering EIDW and since the list is empty but we donât see any online CTRs due to OP having scrolled down before the screenshot, it is reasonable to assume that any chatter in the area would be taking place on that CTRâs frequency and OP should have tuned to that to see if he could hear anyone.
I know, but I also tested on controlled areas and stayed for about 10 minutes, nothing. Also tried to PTT and not even the light colors when I press the buttonâŚ
If you look at the top pict. You will see that both Comm 1 and Comm 2 is tuned to same freq. Active is on unicom and st.by on 134,260. None is tune to ATIS.124,530
The first step is to assure that you hva the correc freq dialled to hear anything
That sounds like you havenât correctly configured your PTT or may have a hardware problem.
Which button do you have set up for your PTT? Have you made sure you didnât accidentally put in a different button than intended? Are you sure the hardware device that button is on is connected to your PC and that that device and specific button are working (does the same button work in other programs, e.g.)?
I have PTT selected to BLOQ NUM, after couldnt hear no one and couldnt speak on ACTIVE freqâs (Such as_APP _TWR) I changed to other keys but still same issue, cant hear no one and cant speak.
I get what you mean, but the thing is it should turn BLUE because airplane is ON, if it isnât itâs always white when I spawn in with cold dark, but when I start the plane itâs the same as in cold darkâŚ
I donât know what you meen by turning blue, first or second picture.
If you canât see the the green coming up in the mike line,in the second picture, then there is a wrong mic selected. It should increase with increasing volume on mike.
When aircraft is with battery on the words ââTXââ and ââRXââ are blue, not white. Iâve tried 2 micâs more too.
