Cannot Hear Anything

Hi All!

I am new to VATSIM and sims in general and have been using XP12 for about 3 months

I have downloaded everything (I believe) and it’s all the most recent

I can connect, but no matter what airport I go to, I cannot hear anything from anyone, anywhere

I would like to sit in as an observer, but have not been able to get to that point

Would someone please help?

I’m sure I have not provided enough info, and will do so if someone will tell me what I need to include
