Canadian Xpress is celebrating 15 years of operations and as part of those celebrations we will be flying some of the routes of our 15-Year Anniversary Tour. Over the next several months, we will pick one leg from the Tour and turn it into the monthly Challenge event. You will still have to fly the leg once for the tour and again for the challenge if you want credit for both.
This month we pick Leg 5 of the 15-Year Anniversary Tour and fly to Pelee Island. Pelee Island is an island in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is in the western half of Lake Erie. Pelee Island is the largest island in Lake Erie and the southernmost populated point in Canada. An Ontario Historical Plaque was erected by the province to commemorate the development of Pelee Island’s role in Ontario’s heritage. Nearby Middle Island is the southernmost point of land in Canada but is not populated and does not allow public access as it is a bird sanctuary.
Your mission is to depart London International (CYXU) and fly to Pelee Island (CYPT) with any Canadian Xpress freeware or payware aircraft that is rated for both airports.
