What are the busiest Domestic Air Routes around the world? Well, we are about to find out, as this month we start the World’s Busiest Domestic Routes series of Challenges. Starting at home here in Canada with the route between Calgary & Vancouver being the busiest route with nearly 19,000 flights in 2019.

The Greater Vancouver area had a population of 2.6 million in 2021, making it the third-largest metropolitan area in Canada. Vancouver has the highest population density in Canada, with over 5,700 people per square kilometer, and fourth highest in North America after New York City, San Francisco, and Mexico City.
