Authentication Failed

I am getting the following message when attempting to connect to the VATSIM network with version 3.5.2 of vPilot:

Authentication failed: This is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server did not receive a response from an authoritative server

It doesn’t appear to be temporary as I have been getting the message on a few successive attempts both yesterday and today.

What is causing this and what needs to be done to resolve the problem?

Looks like you’ve logged in successfully twice today, so assume your issue is resolved?

The “Authentication failed” issue in vPilot might be due to a temporary error with hostname resolution. Check your network connection and try again.
