AFV - Couldn't find active VATSIM Connection

Hello guys, recently i’ve been experiencing an issue where i am unable to use the VATSIM network: basically i can connect just fine to Euroscope however when i press the connect button on AFV it will always show an error message.

I get the same problem with Vector Audio and vATIS.

I’ve uninstalled and re-installed everything and it didn’t fix anything.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thank you

Please ensure you’re using the correct CID and password in the audio client as well as your controller client.

I checked but just to make sure i reset my password, waited the required time and tried connecting again. The connection on the controller client works perfectly however just like before Audio For Vatsim won’t find my active VATSIM Connection.

Are you connecting to server AUTOMATIC, and not Sweatbox?

Yes, here’s a screenshot of my connection settings for both ES and AFV

Have you cleared out the password field completely, and then typed it in by hand carefully? Sometimes, copying and pasting inadvertantly results in copying and pasting a space character.

I did type it manually but, at thje moment, it’s still not working

Thanks for checking. There is nothing on VATSIM’s end that is preventing you from connecting to any VATSIM service. You should ensure, across all VATSIM services, that you are using the password you reset at 1152Z this morning.

I’ve noticed that with vATIS the connection to the server goes through and you ca briefely see the ATIS appear on the controller list of Euroscope (top right of the screen), just for it to disappear in less than 1 second. This video shows the problem i’m getting. Sadly I don’t think it’s password related. It just stopped working randomly, no idea what could be causing this as i didn’t change any settings before getting this problem.
Nevertheless thank you for your help, hopefully i can manage to fix this as it’s preventing me from providing ATC in my vACC.

Have you looked at your Antivirus settings and ensure that you are not blocking the connection of AFV/vATIS ?

I’m only running the default windows antivirus, i disabled it but it didn’t fix anything. Sadly i think that’s just the way it is, it might be something network related on my side. No idea, as i said before, it stopped working randomly.
