Hello Pilots :slight_smile: I will soon buy a new computer for MSFS 2020 can someone tell me what would be the BEST machine for the system !!
What would be the best screen too :slight_smile:
I know a lot of addon have maybe change so will it be useful to use EZdok again or not ?
Vroute still work ?

I would not buy THE best machine, but something just under it. Will save you tons of money. I just bought a new system for 2600 EUR, here in Germany.

  • ASUS ROG Strix Z790-F Gaming WIFI - ATX Mainboard
  • Intel Core i7-13700K
  • ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
  • 32GB Corsair Vengeance black DDR5 6200 (2x 16GB)
  • 2000GB Samsung 990 Pro
  • be quiet! Silent Base 601 Midi-Tower Black
  • 850W be quiet! Pure Power 12 M Power Supply
  • Corsair iCUE H150i RGB Elite Water Cooling for CPU

I am pretty happy and get decent FPS rates. Had I invested 1000 EUR more, I’d probably get a few more FPS, but not worth the difference and investment.

Vroute will reach its end of life on 31 DEC 2023, next week. Better use Simbrief.
To check the online status there are some tools around, VatGlasses, Vatspy, Qutescoop (I use that).

And I forgot to mention that there is no guarantee that you can select all options to “ULTRA” even with the most expensive system. MSFS is mostly CPU-limited, the most expensive graphics card will not help much.

What about the screen ? 27 or 32 inch ? 4K or normal ?
