We are pleased to announce the appointment of Romtam Kangsawiwat as the new Thailand vACC Director, with effect from 19th Jan 2026.
This appointment marks a significant milestone for the Thailand vACC, as Romtam becomes the first local vACC Director in at least a decade, reflecting the positive and continuous growth that we have hoped to see in this vACC.
Romtam has been a VATSIM member for over a decade and has been actively involved with the Thailand vACC for the past five years. During this time, he has played a key role in bringing the local community together, most notably through his work as Events Director, where his dedication and leadership have been instrumental in bringing more exposure, giving a “local taste” to the community.
To that note, I would also like to take this opportunity to formally convert the status of Thailand vACC to an official subdivision.
We are confident that Romtam’s experience, commitment, and passion for the community will serve the Thailand vACC well as he takes on this new role. Please join us in congratulating him and wishing him every success moving forward.
