Hi all…
Ive just recently (after latest Vpilot update) been getting an unhandled exception on connecting.(win 11)
its a single PC…not a network… looks like its talking about the target machine refusing the connection (which is my local machine)
Ive checked previous threads on this and mic permissions are correct etc…
any idea what this specific odd error is being caused by…I cant use Vatsim as it happens on every connect…I can hit continue, but it keeps coming back…

I think this error is coming from one of your vPilot plugins. I can’t tell which one because the stack trace appears to be cut off in the exception details.
I would try removing plugins one at a time until it goes away. I’d start with the VSR plugin as I’m guessing that’s the one, since it does try to make a socket connection AFAIK.

Ok …Fixed… I only had 2 Vpilot plugins…VSR and Littlenavmap VR
it was Littlenavmap VR that which was causing the exception … removing it removes the issue !
It talks to Vatsim presumablyto show received messages it would seem ?
So presumably I should tell the author to have. a look at this thread .?

It’s not connecting to VATSIM. My guess is that the plugin connects to LNM running on your local machine. Is LNM running?
negative…LNM wasnt running when I just tested it, though it was when I made my original report
does this not imply its connecting to Vatsim

It receives the messages through vPilot, through the vPilot plugin. The plugin does not connect directly to VATSIM … only vPilot does.
