I’m not an expert, but I looked it up and maybe try changing your server?? Other say it could just be a temporary glitch and it could stop soon. Confirm no vpn or firewall as well.
Same issue with me yesterday and today. Worse today.
I’m experiencing the same issue today. A discussion thread in this forum from December 2023 stated: “A server from one of our network providers failed. vPilot was simply reporting the issue it was facing; however, vPilot was not the root cause.” Constantly disconnecting vPilot - #6 by 1035677
Admittedly rough numbers, but…
- Roughly 99.9% of the cases for this error (10060 or similar) are a connection interruption between the user and the VATSIM server. It’s not reasonably possible to determine specifically where and/or why that interruption occurs.
vPilot reports the disconnection and gives the (admittedly nondescript) error code related to the disconnection. In the past, people have blamed vPilot for the disconnection, whereas in reality vPilot is simply reporting, for the benefit of the user, that a disconnection has occurred.
