VATSIM Sudamérica se encuentra aceptando postulaciones a la posición de Jefe de FIR Perú de VATSUR.
La directiva divisional se encuentra en la búsqueda de un miembro calificado y profesional, interesado en postular a la posición de Jefe de FIR Perú, cargo responsable de la administración, organización y gestión operativa de la subdivisión, asegurando el cumplimiento de las políticas divisionales de VATSUR y contribuyendo al desarrollo y calidad de las operaciones ATC dentro de la región.
El Jefe de FIR ejercerá el cargo a discreción del Director de División de VATSUR.
Responsabilidades
- Actuar como administrador de la subdivisión.
- Conformar y liderar un staff de trabajo comprometido a colaborar de manera conjunta en beneficio de la subdivisión, tomando como base las políticas divisionales de VATSUR.
- Administrar la forma de operación y organización de la subdivisión.
- Planificar y ejecutar eventos semanales y mensuales conforme a las políticas de eventos de VATSUR.
- Mantener una página web de la subdivisión activa y actualizada.
- Mantener actualizado el sector file de la subdivisión, enviando una copia al Director de Operaciones de VATSUR cada vez que se realicen actualizaciones.
- Enviar trimestralmente al Director de Sistemas de VATSUR una copia de la página web de la subdivisión y sus contenidos, en caso de no encontrarse alojada en el servidor regional.
- Enviar un informe trimestral al Director de División de VATSUR sobre las operaciones de la subdivisión.
- Mantener actualizado el Manual de Operaciones de la subdivisión; todo cambio deberá ser notificado al Director de Operaciones de VATSUR.
- Elaborar y mantener actualizadas las Cartas de Acuerdo Operacional (LOA) con otras subdivisiones cuando sea necesario, notificando al Director de Operaciones de VATSUR.
- Verificar periódicamente la consola de entrenamiento de VATSUR.
- Aceptar nuevas entrevistas ATC desde la consola de entrenamiento de VATSUR.
- Procesar solicitudes de controladores visitantes desde el sistema de VATSUR.
- Mantener presencia frecuente y activa en el Discord oficial de VATSUR.
Requisitos
- Contar con rango ATC C1 o superior.
- Estar en buenos términos con VATSUR y la red VATSIM.
- Ser un miembro activo de la subdivisión.
- Contar con predisposición para dirigir la subdivisión y conformar un equipo de trabajo eficiente.
- Disponibilidad horaria para dedicar al cargo.
- Poseer habilidades de comunicación claras y profesionales.
Las postulaciones deberán ser enviadas siguiendo las instrucciones proporcionadas por la administración divisional de VATSUR.
Las postulaciones serán aceptadas hasta el día 26 de enero a las 2359Z. Las aplicaciones recibidas después de este periodo no serán consideradas.

VATSIM South America is now accepting applications for the position of FIR Chief Peru within the VATSUR Division.
The divisional board is seeking a qualified and professional member interested in applying for the position of FIR Chief Peru, a role responsible for the administration, organization, and operational management of the Peruvian subdivision, ensuring compliance with VATSUR divisional policies and contributing to the development and quality of ATC operations within the region.
The FIR Chief serves at the discretion of the VATSUR Division Director.
Responsibilities
- Act as the administrator of the Peruvian subdivision.
- Form and lead a staff team committed to collaborative work for the benefit of the subdivision, based on VATSUR divisional policies.
- Manage the FIR’s operational structure and organizational framework.
- Plan and execute weekly and monthly events in accordance with VATSUR event policies.
- Maintain an active and up-to-date FIR website.
- Keep the subdivision sector file updated and submit a copy to the VATSUR Director of Operations whenever updates are made.
- Submit a quarterly copy of the FIR website and its contents to the VATSUR Director of Systems when the website is not hosted on the regional server.
- Submit a quarterly operational report to the VATSUR Division Director regarding subdivision activities.
- Maintain the FIR Operations Manual up to date; any changes must be reported to the VATSUR Director of Operations.
- Develop and maintain operational Letters of Agreement (LOAs) with other subdivisions when necessary and notify the VATSUR Director of Operations.
- Periodically monitor the VATSUR Training Console.
- Accept new ATC interviews through the VATSUR Training Console.
- Process visiting controller requests through the VATSUR system.
- Maintain frequent and active presence on the official VATSUR Discord server.
Requirements
- Hold an ATC rating of C1 or higher.
- Be in good standing with VATSUR and the VATSIM Network.
- Be an active member of the Peruvian subdivision.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to lead the subdivision and build an effective staff team.
- Have sufficient availability to dedicate time to the position.
- Possess clear, professional, and effective communication skills.
Applications must be submitted following the instructions provided by the VATSUR Division administration.
Applications will be accepted until 26 January at 2359Z. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
