The Khaleej vACC is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our Events & Marketing Team. This role is crucial in shaping the identity of the vACC, organising engaging events, improving community presence, and ensuring our social media and branding remain professional and consistent.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys planning, teamwork, community engagement, and visual design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate events from planning to execution, this involves creating banners and announcing events.
- Respond to event proposals from all vACCs (including external vACCs outside of VATMENA for clarity)
- Prepare and publish ATC rosters for the events you have coordinated.
- Create social media posts.
- Maintain a consistent and professional social media presence across all platforms.
- Announce events, rating upgrades, and media announcements to all Khaleej vACC Communications platforms.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Department Director.
- Report directly to KHLJ4 – Director of Events and Marketing.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
Must be in good standing within VATSIM.
Be available to contact within 24-48 hours.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
Experienced in utilising photoshop, or any appropriate software to create banners/social media announcements.
Basic experience with utilising Microsoft Excel.
Membership in VATSIM Middle East and North Africa Division & Khaleej vACC, or willing to transfer if selected.
Prior experience with this department within VATSIM is desirable, not required.
Available to dedicate at least 4-5 hours to the position per week.
