Arabian Events Team Member – ARBEVT


Position Duties

The Arabian vACC Events Team Member is responsible for assisting the events & marketing director in organizing events.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating regular events from planning to execution, excluding marketing tasks like announcements and banner design.
  • Preparing ATC rosters for scheduled events and ensure controllers are present.
  • Logging event performance metrics, including traffic and controller attendance.
  • Updating the public/private event schedule accordingly.
  • Sending banner design requests to the Marketing Team.
  • Responding to event proposals from external vACC/Divisions within 48 hours.
  • Selecting appropriate event briefers or be an event briefer.
  • Performing any tasks assigned by the team lead or department director.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Membership in VATSIM Middle East and North Africa Division & Arabian vACC.
  • Hold a minimum rating of Developing Controller (S1) or Private Private License (P1).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of subdivisional, divisional and VATSIM Policies such as the Code of Conduct/Regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
  • Experienced in event planning.
  • Active and in good standing with VATSIM.
  • Availability to dedicate a minimum of 3-5 hours per week towards planning events.
  • Be available for contact within 24 or 48 hours.
  • Able to commit to the position for a minimum term of 6 months.

  • Events & Marketing Director – Arabian vACC [ACCARB5]
  • Events Team Lead – Arabian vACC [ARBEVT1]
