We’re looking for a creative and driven leader to manage the Arabian vACC’s marketing, events, and community engagement.

The Arabian vACC is now seeking candidates for the following position:


Arabian vACC Director of Events & Marketing Department – ACCARB5


Position Duties

The role of the Arabian vACC Events and Marketing Director entails creating and organizing subdivisional events as well as managing all official social media accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing, promoting, and facilitating events on behalf of the vACC. This includes coordinating with controllers for ATC, creating event banners, and ensuring effective promotion through various channels.
  • Maintaining and managing all approved social media platforms for the vACC. This involves regularly updating content, engaging with the community, and ensuring a consistent and professional online presence.
  • Ensuring ATC Coverage for all events and coordinating with other vACCs/Divisions for enroute ATC Coverage for external events by managing ATC Rostering.
  • Lead and manage a team of events & marketing staff.
  • Performing assigned tasks by the vACC Director

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a minimum VATSIM ATC rating of S1 (higher ratings are favorable).
  • Membership in VATSIM Middle East and North Africa Division & Arabian vACC, or willing to transfer if selected.
  • Active and in good standing with VATSIM.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of subdivisional, divisional and VATSIM Policies.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media and/or marketing, or other relevant marketing fields.
  • Experienced in Photoshop/Illustrator, or any similar programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of events & marketing staff.
  • Availability to dedicate a minimum of 5-6 hours per week.
  • Commitment to serve a minimum term of 12 months.

  • vACC Director – Arabian vACC [ACCARB1]
  • Divisional Marketing Director - VATSIM Middle East and North Africa Division [VATMENA4]
